From Randall S. Floyd, Chief of Police

Welcome to the official website of the Telford Borough Police Department. I hope that you will find it user friendly and helpful. The site is designed to provide helpful information on the law enforcement and public safety services that we provide to the residents, businesses and guests of Telford Borough.

Telford Borough is unique in that it is one of the only three municipalities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that are geographically situated in two counties. The Telford Borough Police Department provides police services to both the Bucks and Montgomery County sections of Telford Borough.

On April 4th, 1988 I began my service with the Telford Borough Police Department. Since that time I served as a patrol officer, juvenile officer and detective. On March 12th, 2010 I became the Chief of Police, an honor and responsibility that I take very seriously. It is my desire to lead the dedicated men and women of the Telford Borough Police Department and to ensure that only the highest quality of police services are provided to our constituents.

The Telford Borough Police Department operates 24 hours a day and provides immediate response to emergency incidents, proactive patrol and crime prevention/detection, traffic enforcement, criminal investigation and public service functions. Additionally, the department participates in a regional SWAT team, a regional DUI enforcement team, as well as countywide drug enforcement task forces in both Bucks and Montgomery Counties.

Most importantly; however, the Telford Borough Police Department is committed to developing a strong partnership with all of the stakeholders in the community through a broad community policing and problem solving strategy. Together we will keep Telford Borough safe and maintain a high quality of life for everyone that we serve.
